Being a 4th generation Charleston local Maxie is deeply rooted in southern hospitality and coastal culture.

On a regular basis Maxie can be found being active at Golds Gym or Studio Barre, spending quality time with friends and family, advocating animal rescue, enjoying the outdoors in the sand or by boat, adding countless miles to her car researching and analyzing real estate on James Island and Folly Beach (yes it’s a true hobby) or supporting a local business (Huriyali is her go to).
Maxie currently lives on James Island with her husband Kyle, young son Charlie, 2 rescue cats Allie and Brother, and rescue dog Rio.

The Busey family spends an abundance of time working with animal rescue organizations, fostering, donating medical care funds, and advocating for animals in need.

Maxie’s patience, diligence, and passion for helping others has expanded into her love for real estate. With a low pressure approach Maxie goes above and beyond, treats customers like family, and will exceed your expectations.
